Graduated from University of Texas – Austin with a degree in International Business. Denise then graduated from The University of Texas School of Law in 1981. She possesses over 33 years of legal experience and in 1985 was recognized by the Bexar County Women's Bar Association as an Outstanding Young Lawyer. In 1986, Denise opened her own practice and has been growing the firm ever since. Meanwhile, Denise built this firm under the mindset that family came first and has always gone out of her way to set time aside for her two children, Marisa Rodriguez and Neftali Rodriguez III.

Neftali is employed as an Attorney with our office. He graduated from St. Mary's School of Law and became a licensed attorney in May of 2017. Prior to law school, Neftali graduated with a Degree in Finance from Trinity University. Born in San Antonio and educated in San Antonio, he looks forward to serving the greater San Antonio area. Neftali will focus his practice primarily in family law, juvenile law and criminal defense.
Lino Medina

Lino was born on the south part of San Antonio, Texas. He pursued a medical degree in nursing, but realized his calling was in the legal field. Attending community colleges, Lino is working towards a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with aspirations of becoming a District Judge. Lino has worked in the medical field for 8 years, specializing in family and cardiology departments. During his transition to the legal field, he worked closely with personal injury clients. Attempting to expand his knowledge and experience, Lino joined our team. Lino has become knowledgeable and aware of the needs of clients and patients through his experience. He is a creative, knowledgeable and confident professional who is an essential part of our team.

- Denise was phenomenal in working our child custody case. I appreciated her open, honest feedback as she guided us through the process, proceedings, and paperwork. We were never caught off guard and very prepared every time we had to go to court. Often times I was frustrated with the courts and shenanigans my ex-wife was pulling, Denise would calmly advise us to take the higher road and try to work with my ex-wife every step of the way. When that wouldn’t work, patiently Denise would recommend the next step until both parties could come to an agreement; urging me to work with my ex since it was in the best interest of the long term relationship for our children. - I do not leave many reviews, but am compelled to do so here and now because of a negative review left by another. You might guess at the relation. My version of the facts are these: Denise Martinez has represented me for 2+ years. She represented me in a very difficult divorce, and continues to represent me as I work through the legal system to deal with harassment, threats against me, my family and my co-workers, child support matters, and various other divorce-related fallout. Through it all, Denise has given me good advice, been a voice of reason, and advocated for what is best for my child both in the short and long-term. She has fought for me, but has also guided me away from reactionary responses. I should note that I'm also an attorney, and cannot help but approach being another attorney's client with a critical assessment of how they run their practice, how they are regarded by the judges and other attorneys at the courthouse, and how they treat their other clients. Denise is exceptional in all regards. She cares deeply about her work and achieving the best possible outcome for all parties from intensely difficult situations. She is compassionate, but unwavering in her values of truthfulness, fair dealing, problem-solving, and, if children are involved, keeping their dignity, safety, and well-being as the priority in her advocacy. For this she has earned the respect of her colleagues, opposing counsel (and she's encountered an alarmingly high number of them while working on my particular case), the judges, and obviously, of me as her client. - First and Foremost I need to say that Denise is fair. She is upfront and honest with you. She doesn't give you fake promises and works with you concerning cost. I write this review years later after my divorce and at the time of my divorce I was scared and in shock, I grew impatient with Denise and discontinued her services and moved on to another attorney to not only be met with an attorney that was a MONEY DIGGER but also a STRAIGHT UP LIAR. I saw the difference in the way Denise practiced family law and how the other attorney practiced family law. I regretted not staying with Denise. After the divorce I had learned from the Ex husband and his documents from his attorney that my new attorney had been charging me and over charging me for her negligence and right out refusal to communicate my terms with my Ex husband's attorney. I also personally witnessed other attorney's in the court room insult my new attorney for not communicating terms on another case and turning off her fax machine and not being available for court appearances. Denise was nothing like that. You can tell she truly loves law. She is an outstanding attorney and is genuine in her concern. I should have stayed with Denise.......- DE ME. 5/1/2016
